Note: ALL FUNDING FOR THIS WORKSHOP HAS BEEN ALLOCATED
As part of the Mathematical Sciences Collaborative Diversity Initiatives, the six NSFfunded U.S. mathematics institutes will host their annual SACNAS preconference event, the 2022 Modern Math Workshop (MMW). The Modern Math Workshop encourages undergraduates from underrepresented groups to pursue careers in the mathematical sciences, and builds research and networking opportunities among undergraduates, graduate students and recent PhDs.
The workshop includes two minicourses aimed at undergraduates, research sessions aimed at graduate students and recent PhDs, a panel addressing professional issues of interest to both, a reception open to all participants, and a plenary talk by Dr. Leona Harris.
The MMW is part of the SACNAS National Conference and begins at noon on Wednesday, October 26 and ends at noon on Thursday, October 27.
