Personal Profile of Mr. Igor Pak

Biography
Igor Pak was born and grew up in Moscow, where he went to the Moscow University. He received his Ph.D. at Harvard University where he was awarded Hertz Foundation Fellowship. He was later an NSF and MSRI Postdoctoral Fellow, Gibbs Instructor at Yale University, and worked at MIT and University of Minnesota. He is currently a Professor at UCLA where he works in Combinatorics. He is an invited speaker at the International Congress of Mathematicians in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, in August 2018.
